The stage was set and packed with brilliant performances by Carlene Davis, Majah Hype, Baby Cham and Romain Virgo who delivered a stellar performance at the 5th Annual Jamaican Jerk Festival in Roy Wilkins Park in Queens on Sunday July 19th 2015.

From the golden moment Romain touched the stage as the sun began to set you could hear and feel the electric buss as the band started to play and you heard a warm silky smooth and strong voice slice through the heated air like a cool summer breeze.

It was sort of like when you hear Jigga “Uh huh uh uh” you know something great is coming next. And it did Romain sung his heart out and thrilled the New York city event goers with sweet reggae music as he flew around the stage, truly an amazing moment.

It was a day of family fun and music with people from all over enjoying the caribbean cuisine and all the delights the festival had to offer. The NYC Mayor Bill De Blasio was on site squaring off with his self named swagga sandwich against the lovely and beautiful Miss Universe Jamaica 2014 Kaci Fennell in the annual Quick fire cook off challenge.
